Congrats Davey. One thing I would definitely like to see in the Zend Framework, since it intends to provide AJAX support, is integration with the prototype.js library. I realise that this is used by Ruby on Rails, which the framework is not trying to rip off, however it is a fantastic library and it would be great to see it become almost a standard. An additional bonus is obviously it can be relied on for continual development etc, and also there are a lot of additional scripts and projects already implementing prototype.js,
Just my 2cents worth - since you mentioned that you wanted to keep an eye on what the community needs Any thoughts?
Good job, dude. Now get in there and grind that framework out asap because I really am dying for a decent web app framework for php...
Congratulations. Hopefully, you can get Zend excited about the PEAR installer.
What are your plans for Crtx_PEAR_Channel_Frontend?
I have no plans at this point to ditch the Crtx_PEAR_Channel_Frontend, I've got some outstanding things in SVN but it has been a while since I touched it.
If I do find I am unable to maintain it, I'm sure there are others (Clay Loveless, Greg Beaver, you? - Davey
Congratulations!
Would you be just a contributor, or are you on the Zend payroll now? The 'obviously can't release any information that they don't want released' is a bit ambiguous, why would there be info about the framework that they don't want to be released? (or maybe that's just me being paranoid again) |

Andi fékk þörf fyrir að láta fólk vita að honum þætti PHP vera frábært mál. Geri ráð fyrir að þetta sé nokkurskonar svar á __isCallable() óskina á PHP-DEV póstlistanum. Einnig læddi hann út smá meiru góðgæti um Zend Frameworkið, vinnsla með PDF skjöl ver
